Bachelor's Degree Pathways
Students who earn an Associate in Arts (A.A.) or Associate in Science (A.S.) degree from Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC) are encouraged to explore bachelor’s degree pathways at LSSC or other Florida colleges or universities.
Lake-Sumter State College offers four bachelor's level programs:
- Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) in Leadership
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Elementary Education
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Exceptional Student Education
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Nursing - (RN to BSN)
Within the B.A.S. in Leadership, students have the option of six distinct concentrations:
- Criminal Justice Leadership
- Health Services Administration
- Human Resource Management
- Project Management
- Sports Leadership
- Organizational Management

LSSC is a proud partner of the University of Central Florida and its DirectConnect to UCF program. Through DirectConnect to UCF, Lake-Sumter State College students who complete an Associate in Arts (A.A.) or articulated Associate in Science (A.S.) degree are guaranteed admission to the University of Central Florida, in accordance with university policy.
